This special fall workshop is born out of a desire to bring beauty to this city in a very tangible, practical way.  We have been looking for ways to employ flowers as an agent of loving one another and think this will be a very special time. Students will create two centerpieces - one to bring home for their Thanksgiving table and one that will be donated to San Francisco City Impact's Thanksgiving Outreach Day.  SF City Impact's annual Thanksgiving Outreach Day serves residents of the Tenderloin neighborhood by hosting community activities, delivering 7,000 warm meals, and serving 300 folks at a sit-down meal. Our created centerpieces will contribute to the sit-down meal tablescape!

We will be hosting two sessions of this workshop - one on the evening of Wednesday 11/22, and one on Thanksgiving morning, Thurs 11/23. Students at each session will have access to an abundant spread of foliage and flowers. All materials will be provided and light refreshments will be served. Registration fees are intended only to cover cost of materials; all leftover proceeds will be donated to SF City Impact.
